Production

SAMCO’s automatic coating line consists
of the following production stages:
1. Surface preparation by shot blasting.
2. Preheating by induction.
3. Electrostatic powder coating.
4. Curing.
5. Cooling.
6. Bundling.

Quality & Quality Assurance

Epoxy coated rebars are supplied in accordance with the requirements of ASTM standard A 775/775 M-90. Only selected steel bars, produced by Saudi Iron and Steel Co. (Hadeed) with surface properties

accepted to meet our quality are processed in our automatic coating system with in-line installed holiday detectors followed by integrated inspection

procedure and well equipped LAB to’ ensure the following:

  1. Thickness of coating.

  2. Continuity of coating.

  3. Adhesion of coating.

  4. Bendability.

To assure Our in-house laboratory contains the following devices:

  • “in-Line” Continuous Holiday Detector

  • Cathodic Disbondment Testing Instrument

  • Gel Time Testing Instrument

  • Moisture Content Tester
